A dog’s health is primarily impacted by what they eat, just like humans. Ensuring excellent nutrition choices for our dogs means they are healthy, happy, and they don’t need to go to the Vet aside from wellness checks. What we feed our dogs and how we feed them makes a huge difference in their lives!
I decided to go to school to really make sure we knew what we were doing to best feed and care for our dogs and pups!
In the beginning, I took a couple of workshops and a few interactive learning webinars. I learned a ton of useful information from those early footsteps into the canine nutrition world. Eventually, my learning shaped into a goal and I took a course in pet nutrition and earned a certificate in pet nutrition.
General Canine Nutrition
The Canine Digestive System
Commercial Pet Food Ingredients
Raw Feeding (Primal, BARF, DIY, Premade, etc)
Organic Dog Treats
Dehydrated Dog Treats
I’m currently enrolled in a program focused solely on Canine Nutrition. It is an in-depth program offered by the Companion Animal Sciences Institute. Once I finish the program I will have earned my Canine Nutrition Certificate (Cert.CN).
