I keep the rubbish pieces of bell peppers I cut off when I cook and I use them to make pepper paws for our male Mason. Bell peppers are a delicious treat for dogs. They have a slightly sweet taste to them and are easy to digest when steamed open or puréed.
The bell pepper paws give your dog a boost of vitamins A, C, & E. These paws give your dog support with blood flow, immune system, and skin + coat. You DO need to steam or boil the vegetable open to break them down to an absorbable and digestible state for your dog.
Tips for Bell Pepper Paws:
I keep the seeds and plant them in my garden for more peppers
Freeze the peppers until you’re ready to use them
Quick-boil just to the point of soft
